The Darkness Movie?
SSH said this about a possible Darkness movie
Platinum Studios, an entertainment company that controls the world’s largest independent library of comic book characters, and Blue Star Pictures have inked a deal with directors Danny and Oxide Pang to direct the upcoming feature film, The Darkness, based on the popular comic book published by Top Cow Productions, Inc. Platinum Studios will finance 50 percent of the production. Platinum, Blue Star and the Pang Brothers are jointly looking for a writer.
That could be a kick ass movie. I only read a few of the issues, the 1st 20 or so, but if done right it would make for a fun movie.
Spider-Man 3 new Girl
Seems Christina Cindrich plays a role in the new Spidey flick.
Christina just booked a role in Spiderman 3! She is filming this week in LA.
Could be Black Cat… I can’t think of anyone else she’d play. Maybe a Mary Jane rival in show biz?
X-men 3
SHH had a few things about Xmen 3, like this quote from Professor Piccard… I mean Patrick Stewart
We asked him about a potential Dark Phoenix plot to the film, to which he looked very mysterious but wouldn’t give anything away except for a rather intriguing smile. (A Dark Phoenix shaped smile? Oh go on…) He did however drop a few tantalising tidbits about Professor X’s fate in the second sequel: “You’d need about an hour to hear all about it. There are going to be some changes. Professor X is now very, very startling, very surprising. It’s all very exciting.”
I really hope he plays more than just the victim. Professor X is at his beat when he’s emotional, mostly because he doesn’t get that way very often. Also from that same SSH post they talk about a new cast member and who was up to be Gambit. It’s not really clear, but it sounds like Gambit won’t be in this movie.
